January 1999: Winter-green rough-woven silk

Because the "green season" is so long, we wanted an alternate green set. We chose a cold, teal green to use in the winter period between Epiphany and Transfigration.

This set, with it's quilted cross motif, comes closest to the older style frontals. I lined these heavy pieces with thin, satiny silk, and also used the thin fabric for the veil.
