Curious about church?

Here are some upcoming opportunities to visit and learn more …

Visitor’s Brunch – Saturday, February 11 at 9:30am: All are welcome!  Join recent visitors and others curious about the church for some informal conversation and to ask questions.  Kids are most welcome, too – the pastors’ kids will be around to hang out.  Rsvp to Pastor Kate or Bernt.

Attend a concert!  Sunday, February 12 at noon: join us for a fun performance of Bach’s “Coffee Cantata” with harpsichord, cello, flute, violin and members of the FLC choir.  Details here.  Come a little earlier for 10:30 worship to hear Bach’s Musical Offering.

Ashley Storrow and Putnam Smith, Sunday, February 26 at 4:30pm: folk musicians from Maine provide warm and informal concert or original and traditional music on banjo, guitar and other instruments in the fellowship hall with drinks and appetizers.  Details here.

Learn about Jesus: how might we as modern people look at Jesus and the claims made about him?  A few of us are reading the Oxford Very Short Introduction to Jesus.  If you’re interesting in joining the discussion, Rsvp to Pastor Bernt.

Ash Wednesday is March 1, noon and 7:30pm.  This brief and contemplative worship service includes the imposition of ashes, and marks the beginning of the season of Lent.
