Koinonia Service - Parish Life Groups

Koinonia is a Greek word that occurs 20 times in the Bible. Its primary meaning is "fellowship, sharing in common, communion." Christian fellowship is a key aspect of the Christian life. When you become part of the FLC family you are invited to become a member of one of the five Parish Life groups to better share in the fellowship activities of the church. Each group serves on a monthly basis hosting Coffee Hour each Sunday after the 10:30 worship. The group leaders coordinate the effort to see that there is a volunteer or volunteers for each week. The colored sign-up cards are posted in the Parish Hall by the front door.

Other fellowship opportunities include helping with Congregational potluck suppers, Advent/Christmas Smörgåsbord, Lenten Soup Suppers, Rally Day breakfast, and occasional special receptions. Many hands make light work!
