First Lutheran Women

First Lutheran Women includes women of all ages and backgrounds. We get together to share in learning experiences, to talk about life and faith, to raise funds for our favorite charities, and just to enjoy being together and enriching one another's lives. Bible study

Regular Meeting

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at Channing House, just across from First Lutheran, in the third floor lounge, at 12:00 noon, for lunch ($10) and Bible Study. Contact Muriel Herhold for more information.

Project Sundays

On the fourth Sunday of each month, we meet after church in the Parish Hall. Each person brings a personal project to work on or an activity to share. The contact person for Project Sundays is Beverly Grove.

Benevolences

Through the generosity of the congregation and our annual pie sale, which takes place each October, we raise funds that enable us to contribute to Mosaic, Christmas Bureau of Palo Alto, Ecumenical Hunger Program, Lutheran Social Services, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund and W-ELCA, the national women's organization of the ELCA. Ladies' Night Out

Ladies' Night Out is a multigenerational group of women who meet at local restaurants and occasionally at someone's home to talk about life and faith. We look forward to our monthly meetings and the opportunity to relax, laugh and catch up with our sisters.

FLC women of all ages are invited to enjoy dinner out with us. We are happy to arrange rides for those who prefer not to drive.

So, if you haven't done so before or haven't done so in a while, come share a meal with us!
