First Lutheran Youth
One of the changes you'll see is the group will have four leaders. Aside from Julie Valentine, we're happy to welcome back both Tami Fletcher and Randy Urdahl and very glad to have Karan Barich joining us. We think this diverse group of leaders will be a great way to meet the needs of a diverse group of kids. Another change is we've decided to return to a breakfast format for Sunday mornings. Some Sundays we'll meet at a local restaurant, other weeks we'll walk downtown for bagels, meet someone's home, or just bring stuff in to the youth room. The main thing is to have an opportunity to get together and talk about life and school and how to live our faith in an often complicated world. Check your email for where and when we're meeting each week. We'll be doing other things, too. Aside from the annual ski/snowboard trip in late January and the Easter breakfast next spring, we're looking for the kids to plan some outside activities - mini-golf, bowling, movie nights, camping trips, fundraisers - whatever they want to do. We're looking forward to a great year and hope to see everyone there!!

FLY is going to see some exciting changes this year. First of all, we have a great group of kids - the largest group we've had in years. We have a bunch of seniors and a bunch of freshman and a sprinkling of kids in the middle. The great thing about a group like this is the opportunity for the older kids to share their experiences with the kids who are just starting out in high school.
