Community Outreach
Jesus calls us to reach out to the needs of our community, both physical and spiritual. First Lutheran supports the community in many ways.
- We make our facility available to community organizations, for 12-step group meetings, music lessons, and more.
- We serve the community by offering First Lutheran as a polling place for elections.
- We support a sister parish, Rios de Agua Viva in El Salvador, and have exchanged visits and made mutual friends.
- We provide a concert venue for the best in Bay Area chamber music groups, including a series by the San Francisco Early Music Society, Soli Deo Gloria, Magnificat, and the early-music ensemble Women's Antique Vocal Ensemble.
