The church year begins in December with the season of Advent, and our Centennial celebration begins with this festival, a nod to our Swedish origins but also a party that appeals to a wide variety of neighbors.

The actual centennial and “birthday” for FLC. Plans continue evolve, and are likely to include morning worship and an afternoon party.
The opening of the exhibit will be held on Friday night, April 17 with a wine and cheese reception. The paintings will be on exhibit through Saturday and Sunday morning until the end of coffee hour. Marguerite will speak during the Adult Forum on Sunday morning, April 19.

We will be joined by Rev. Brian Stein-Webber for a day of remembering and celebrating FLC’s relationship with Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley.

Worship followed by a lunch where visitors, former members, and present members will have time to visit. We hope this can be the the major reunion event of the centennial and hope that many former members and friends will attend.
